PURPOSE: A two-level operation type safety switch is provided to prevent effectively the industrial disaster by operating a corresponding local device according to a two-level operation of a driving switch. CONSTITUTION: A two-level operation type safety switch includes a driving switch(11), a reset switch(11-1), and a control portion(12). The driving switch(11) is used for deciding an on/off state of a local device as a control target. The control portion(12) maintains a standby period when the driving switch(11) is in a first on-state, outputs a signal to turn on the local device when the driving switch(11) is in a second on-state after the standby period, and initializes a control state of the driving switch(11) when the driving switch(11) is not in the second on-state or the reset switch(11-1) is in the on-state during the predetermined cancel period after the standby period. The two-level operation type safety switch further includes an alarm output portion(13) to indicate the first on-state of the driving switch(11). The alarm output portion(13) outputs an alarm signal according to a control signal of the control portion(12).
