摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new monoclonal antibody capable of efficiently separating a neural stem cell and a precursor cell by selectively recognizing the neural stem cell and the precursor cell. <P>SOLUTION: The monoclonal antibody has a characteristic selectively recognizing an antigen which expresses in cells localized in an ependymal layer and a subependymal region of a human brain tissue and selectively can immunostain the ependymal layer and the subependymal region in an immunostaining test using a human nerve tissue piece thereby. The neural stem cell and the precursor cell can efficiently be separated from the human nerve tissue by selectively recognizing cells other than the neural stem cell and the precursor cell among the cerebral nerve cells. Since cells other than the neural stem cell and the precursor cell are selectively recognized, a fluorescent substance is not deposited on the target neural stem cell and precursor cell.
