PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent an excessive temperature rise in a room and wasteful fuel consumption due to ignition by forced maximum heating performance not corresponding to changes in service conditions. SOLUTION: This hot-air heating apparatus is provided with a room temperature detector, a room temperature setting device, and a controller. The controller 12 makes a comparison between a room temperature T detected at the time of operation start and a preset room temperatures. Ignition is performed so that both of gas amount and wind amount may be minimum in a temperature controllable range in the case of T≥S and they may be maximum in the temperature controllable range in the case of T<S.
