PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an adhesive composition, wherein environmental factors and effects to human bodies are considered, and at least one characteristic selected from storage stability, adhesiveness, cohesiveness, heat resistance, warm water resistance and drying is improved compared with conventional adhesive compositions. SOLUTION: The adhesive composition comprises a major emulsion agent, which consists of a polymer emulsion containing a polyol having at least 2 hydroxy groups capable of reacting with isocyanate groups, and a curing agent containing a polyisocyanate compound, wherein the polyol has a weight average molecular weight in the range of 400-8,000 determined by GPC measurements.
