APPARATUS FOR CONTROLLING HUB USING REMOTE CONTROLLER

PURPOSE: An apparatus for controlling a hub using a remote controller is provided to restrict the usage of a hub in a hardware way by switching the data input/output ports of the hub through switching elements. CONSTITUTION: Switching elements(25) to turn on or off input/output ports(11) are installed at a hub(10). A remote controller(20) controls the switching of the switching elements(25). The hub(10) comprises a data switching processing part(12) to transmit and receive data with the input/output ports(11). The switching elements(25) are installed between the input/output ports(11) and the data switching processing part(12). A switching driver(22), controlled by a remote control module(21) receiving a remote signal from the remote controller(20), controls the operations of the switching elements(25).
