<p>A closure (1) for a liquid container, e.g. a glass or plastic bottle, has a cylindrical base (2) which is securely attached to the neck of the container and with has a profiled top (7) with a raised rim and a central depression (5). A pouring groove is moulded through the raised rim and has an aperture sealed by a tab attached to the closure by a plastic hinge. The filled container is sealed with a primary seal, e.g. crown cork, which is removed and discarded leaving the user to dispense liquid via the reseal able tab, which provides a liquid seal, but not gas a gas seal.</p> |
