The invention concerns a method for configuration of an equipment control device comprising a transmitter of commands and a receiver of commands monitoring the equipment. The invention is characterized in that it comprises the following steps: sending from the transmitter commands to the receiver of commands an information concerns ergonomic features available on the transmitter of commands; selecting in a memory of the receiver of commands, by means of the previous information, a list corresponding to the ergonomic features of the transmitter of commands and enabling the ergonomics of the transmitter of commands to be translated into commands executable by the equipment. |
