<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a matrix metalloproteinase inhibitor useful for the prevention of aging. <P>SOLUTION: This matrix metalloproteinase inhibitor containing kale or its extracts, and a medicine, cosmetic, skin external preparation, agent for preventing aging and food composition containing the same are provided.
