PURPOSE: A tray and a vacuum dryer using the tray are provided to install a drying chamber and cooling chamber together in a housing by separating the housing with a partitioning wall, thereby improving the efficiency in freeze drying. CONSTITUTION: A vacuum dryer using a tray is composed of a housing(200) with a door(210), a drying chamber(300) installed in one side of the housing, a cooling chamber(400), a vacuum pump(500), and a heating unit(600). The drying chamber forms guide rails along which the tray containing a plurality of supports moves. A heating/cooling pipe(320) surrounds the supports and tray. The cooling chamber having a condenser is formed by installing a partitioning wall at one side of the drying chamber. The vacuum pump is connected to the cooling chamber via tubing(510).
