PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the deterioration in reliability and blowing performance while reducing noise. SOLUTION: A blower comprises: a cylindrical metallic inner boss 25 for fitting the motor shaft of a drive motor; a cylindrical outer boss 27 having an inside diameter larger than the outside diameter of the inner boss 25; a cylindrical hub 29 having an inside diameter larger than the outside diameter of the outer boss 27; a fan blade 21 connected to the hub 29; a strip plate spring 35; and a rib 33 connecting the outside surface of the outer boss 27 to the inside surface of the hub 29. The plate spring 35 is arranged so that the strip surface is laid along the axial direction of the motor shaft, with one end of the plate spring 35 being connected to part of the outside surface of the inner boss, and the other end being connected to part of the inside surface of the outer boss, whereby the plate spring 35 flexibly connects the motor shaft to the hub 29 to suppress the resonance, and the hub 29 is sufficiently reinforced by the rib 33. Accordingly, the deformation of the fan blade 21 is suppressed to suppress the deterioration in blowing performance. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
