<p>PURPOSE:To properly adapt individual clearing operation of the RAM contents in accordance with the degree of malfunction by providing a 1st reset mode where the RAM contents are not cleared and a 2nd reset mode where the RAM contents are cleared. CONSTITUTION:In a 1st reset mode, the contents of a RAM 4b are not cleared and the internal registers 4d of a processor 4 are reset. In a 2nd reset mode, the contents of the RAM 4b are cleared and the registers 4d are also reset. When a reset switch RST is operated with a device kept in a 1st state, a resetting action is carried out in the 1st reset mode. Meanwhile a resetting operation is carried out in the 2nd reset mode when the switch RST is operated with the device kept in a 2nd state respectively. Thus it is possible to prevent the malfunctions of the device by applying the 1st or 2nd reset mode in accordance with the degree of each malfunction.</p> |
