PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rocker cover structure of light weight endurable to the radiation of high-temperature heat in an exhaust system. SOLUTION: A heat shielding plate 10 is provided between a rocker cover 9 at the upper part of an engine En and an exhaust manifold 8. The heat shielding plate 10 is disposed in such a way as to prevent the transmission of high-temperature heat generated from the exhaust manifold 8 to the rocker cover 9. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
