PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a regenerative heat exchanger for exchanging the heat of a heat source fluid 5 and the heat of a heat recovery fluid 6 through a heat accumulating material 4 with a quick response to the load fluctuation of the heat recovery fluid 6. SOLUTION: A first flow passage 1 and a second flow passage 2 are formed adjacent to each other through a wall surface to transmit the heat, and the heat source fluid 5 flows in the first flow passage 1, and the heat recovery fluid 6 flows in the second flow passage 2.
