PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper powder-removing apparatus in a papermaking machine used for removing paper powder deposited in the interior of the papermaking machine. SOLUTION: A shower pipe 61 for jetting shower water is provided on a wall surface of a part, on which the paper powder deposits, in the interior of a former of a papermaking machine, and a blocking plate 54a for blocking mist which flow out along a forming wire is provided on the downstream of the shower pipe 61 in the traveling direction of a forming wire. Consequently, paper powder can be made to flow along the backside of a rear plate 9c of a loading table 9 while blocking the mist which is made to flow out along a lower wire 4 by the blocking plate 54a and the shower water can be sprayed to the back side of the rear plate 9c of the loading table 9 by a first nozzle.
