<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus in which convenience of energy saving function can be enhanced by providing a function for making a transition to an energy saving mode not only on the apparatus body side but also on the printer side. <P>SOLUTION: The imaging apparatus is provided respectively, in the apparatus body and the printer controller, with an energy saving processing section performing a processing for making a transition to an energy saving mode or a processing for rejecting the transition in response to a request for making a transition to energy saving mode from the printer side or the apparatus body side. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
