<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell with polymer electrolyte of which, electrolyte is prevented from deterioration due to metallic ions by constructing metallic parts like a collector plate so as not to make contact with reaction gas, and the cells are prevented from short circuit via cooling water by constructing so that the cooling water does not make contact with the metallic part. <P>SOLUTION: For the fuel cell with polymer electrolyte, an outlet and an inlet of fuel cell reaction gas are formed by a manifold hole and cylindrical parts communicated with the manifold hole, mounted so as to protrude from the front and back surfaces of an insulation board. The cylindrical parts are made to penetrate through the through holes formed so as to correspond with the manifold holes of an end plate and the current collecting plate, and the end plate and the collector plate are prevented from contacting with the reaction gas by the cylindrical part. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
