<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a card-shaped medium processing device capable of performing cleaning or maintenance inside a device and inside an insertion hole easily without using a fastening element such as a screw and thereby without using a tool or the like. <P>SOLUTION: The card insertion hole is halved oppositely relative to a card insertion part, and disposed as a first part 11a of the card insertion hole and a second part 11b of the card insertion hole respectively. One part of the two parts of the card insertion hole is fixed by a screw or the like, and the other part is fixed through an elastic member such as a spring in the state capable of pressing and energizing in the direction of the one part, rocking, and expanding and contracting, relative to a first unit 1 and a second unit 2, to thereby enable the card insertion part to be opened and closed integrally with the units. A positioning part for positioning the respective parts when closing the units is preferably provided on the engaging face between the first part and the second part of the card insertion hole. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
