<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance confidentiality of a two-dimensional code, and simultaneously to prevent increase of a manufacturing cost of a two-dimensional code reader. <P>SOLUTION: This two-dimensional code reader 11 has a constitution wherein, when decomposing image data included in at least a part of a region in a data cell region of the two-dimensional code into a plurality of image data by using a visual compound cipher technology, and reading the two-dimensional code for recording at least one image data among the plurality of image data, the image data other than the recorded image data among the plurality of image data are retrieved, and the recorded image data are decoded by using the retrieved image data, and the image in the restored data cell region is decoded. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
