PURPOSE: A variable resistor including an automatic lubricating oil supply device is provided to reduce the frictional force between a resistor and a rotary contactor by installing a housing including the lubricating oil at one side of the rotary contactor or one side of the resistor. CONSTITUTION: A variable resistor including an automatic lubricating oil supply device includes a rotary plate having a rotary contactor(12), a rotary shaft extended from the rotary plate, a resistor connected to the rotary contactor(12), a resistor substrate(20) connected plural terminals, a fixing plate(24) combined with the rotary contactor(12). A housing(110) is arranged in the resistor substrate(20). The housing(110) includes the first through-hole(102) in order to supply the lubricating oil between the resistor substrate(20) and the fixing plate(24). A transferring guide portion(140) is arranged in the housing(110) in order to guide the lubricating oil to a resistor(16) of the resistor substrate(20).
