PURPOSE: A boost circuit is provided, which improves operation characteristics and reliability of the circuit, by generating a stable and constant pumping voltage by supplying a constant precharge voltage without regard to a power supply voltage to a capacitor. CONSTITUTION: A pumping capacitor(C301) is connected between the first node and the second node. A precharge unit(310) applies a precharge voltage of the pumping capacitor to the first and the second node according to an inverted pumping signal. A voltage distributor(320) is connected between the first node and a ground voltage terminal. A kick signal generator(330) boosts a voltage of the first node constantly by generating a kick signal to the second node according to a non-inverted pumping signal as comparing a distribution voltage generated in the voltage distributor with a reference voltage. And a boosting unit(400) boosts the power supply voltage to a target voltage according to the non-inverted pumping signal using the voltage of the first node as a positive precharge voltage.
