PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem in a conventional technique that backup data dispersed in a plurality of storage device systems in a SAN (storage area network) cannot be unitarily managed. SOLUTION: This computer system 1000 has an original storage 1220 and an original path 1230 that are the backup source information of all backup data in the computer system, a designation storage 1240 and a designation pass 1250 that are backup designation information, and a backup time 1260 on a management console 1010. A backup manager 1020 that works in the management console 1010 performs a backup instruction for between NASs (network access servers) and an instruction for restoration from backup data by use of these pieces of information.
