PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent degradation of operation quality by resonance of a substrate. SOLUTION: This is a plasma display panel 1 which comprises a partition wall 29 that divides the discharge gas space tightly sealed by a pair of substrates 11, 21 and a sealing material 35 in line with the cell arrangement on the display face and in which the upper face of the partition wall end part is separated from the opposing face to be contacted and, thereby, a gap 33 exists. The natural frequency in the portion from the inner end of the gap 33 to the inner end of the sealing material 35 is made higher than the audio frequency of the human being. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
