<p>A system of temporary or 'trial' implants which are used to establish the optimal location of the femoral head relative to the body of the hip stem implant. Using a series of interchangeable modular femoral neck components (9) that mate with a series of interchangeable modular femoral body components (10), the location of the femoral head can be independently adjusted with respect to horizontal offset, vertical offset and anteversion angle relative to the body (Figure 7A).</p> |
