PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cooking container capable of suppressing the radiation from a pan with excellent energy saving property, and being treated with bare hands even just after cooking. SOLUTION: The outer surface of the pot 11 is covered with a material poorer in thermal conductivity than a pot main body 12. The material with poor thermal conductivity acts as a heat insulating member 81 to suppress the radiation from the pan. Therefore, cooking performance can be improved while preventing a trouble such as dew condensation, the thermal influence from the outside air can be suppressed, and energy saving performance can be also improved. Since the outer surface of the pan 11 is covered with the heat insulating member 81, the pot 11 can be handled with bare hands even just after cooking. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
