PURPOSE: A flat display device and a method for manufacturing the same are provided to achieve improved luminous efficiency by forming a curvature at the organic electroluminescence layer in such a manner that the light is reflected in a forward direction. CONSTITUTION: A flat display device comprises an insulation substrate(200) having a switching element; a first insulation film formed on the insulation substrate, and which has a convex-concave corresponding to a pixel aperture; a pixel electrode(270) formed on the first insulation film and electrically connected to the switching element; a second insulation film having the pixel aperture for exposing a certain part of the pixel electrode; and an organic electroluminescence layer(290) formed in the pixel aperture and which has a curvature.
