<p>Prepn. of an extract for use in cosmetics and toiletry by extg. the gonads of sea-urchins with an org. solvent or an aqs. surfactant at -20 to +200 degrees C at 1-20 atmos. and opt. evapg. the extract. It may be used as a skin and hair tonic. Suitable org. solvents include alcohol, acetone, CHCl3, CH2Cl2, ethyl acetate, vegetable oils, isopropyl myristate, chlorinated hydrocarbons, benzene, toluene and xylene.</p> |
