FIELD: construction engineering, particularly, 0.4-35-kV power transmission lines. SUBSTANCE: power transmission line support with insulated wires includes pole, head with members from electric insulating composite material and metal members for wire fastening located on head. Head is made in form of rod structure from plastic based on mineral and/or chemical fibers with tensible strenth of 60-2000 Mpa, dielectric strength of 40-70 kV/cm and volume resistance of 1012-1015 ohm.cm. Members for wire fastening are made in form of split sleeves provided with polymer spacers and rigidly secured to head rods with help of metal branch pipes.
