PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a level shift circuit whose current consumption is reduced, while ensuring its stable performance. SOLUTION: When input signals are at H level, a transistor M10 is controlled in the ON state, a transistor M11 is controlled in the OFF state, and L level is outputted from an output terminal. When the input signals are at L level, the transistor M10 is controlled in the OFF state and the transistor M11 is controlled in the ON state, and H level is outputted from the output terminal. Transistors M18 and M19 are controlled in the ON state, from the time when the input signals change until the expiration of a predetermined time and a large current is fed via the transistors M10 and M11.
