PURPOSE: A deodorizer is provided, which has the excellent initial deodorizing ability, the high safety, and the good persistency by controlling titanium oxide(TiO2), the photocatalytic material with the good oxidizing power and hydrogen peroxide(H2O2), the inorganic oxidant. CONSTITUTION: The deodorizer is essentially comprised of 0.5 to 5 wt.% of the sol type titanium oxide containing copper, 0.05 to 3.0 wt.% of hydrogen peroxide as an inorganic oxidant, and 92 to 99 wt.% of the purified water as a solvent. The sol type titanium oxide is preferably the anatase base titanium oxide in a state of colloid having the diameter of 10¬-5 to 10¬-7 cm. The carried amount of the copper(Cu) is preferably 0.1 to 0.5 wt.% based on the solid content of titanium oxide.
