<p>PURPOSE: A tele-web information receiver having multiple tuners and a channel search method are provided to watch a broadcasting program of a selected channel and search channels for a channel including tele-web information, simultaneously, using multiple tuners. CONSTITUTION: A tele-web information receiver includes the first and second tuners(205,210), a tele-web information detector(245), an OSD generator(255), and a controller(225). The first tuner tunes a channel selected by a user from received broadcasting signals. The second tuner sequentially tunes a plurality of channels according to an external control signal. The tele-web information detector detects at least one channel number including tele-web information from the plurality of channels sequentially tuned by the second tuner. The OSD generator displays the channel number in an OSD picture. The controller generates the control signal when a command of searching the tele-web information channel is received from the user.</p> |
