PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a two-layer sintered body which can increase the strength at a junction between its upper and lower layers. SOLUTION: Layers of first and second raw material powders 7 and 8 are pressurized to form a green compact 111 which is subsequently sintered to form the sintered body 121. Here, a sintered layer 123 of the second raw material powder has a higher brazeability than a sintered layer 122 of the first raw material powder. Since a boundary between the first and second raw material powder-sintered layers 122 and 123 has a slope, the obtained sintered body 121 shows an excellent bond strength between the raw material powder-sintered layers 122 and 123.
