PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a movable guide rail structure in a building shutter promoting a smoke interruption performance between both guide rails in a state to have the adjoining guide rail to become a hanging posture when the guide rail is movable to vertically oscillate by an opening and shutting operation of a curtain in the case of shutting. SOLUTION: The movable guide rail structure in the building shutter is so constituted that a projection 5f is formed outward in the right and left directions of a pair of guide pieces 5b and 5c in front and in the rear constituting the guide rail 5 in a state to lean toward either one of the directions in front and in the rear and that the projection 5f of guide pieces 5b and 5c on one side and the projection 5f of guide pieces 5b and 5c on the other side are laminated in front and in the rear in a state to be a position relation, what is called, a meeting style when the adjoining guide rail becomes the hanging posture.
