<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink composition for inkjet recording, which is used for inkjet recording wherein recording is made in the color-extinguished state on a recording medium to make reading impossible while a printed image is caused to reversibly develop or extinguish a color by a heating means only when necessary, which has high color-developing and color-extinguishing speeds, high density of coloration and good shelf stability, is free from clogging and is stable in delivery. <P>SOLUTION: The ink composition consists of: a dye or color developer comprising a reversibly heat-sensitive material; a dispersant comprising a polyoxyethylene glycerin derivative; a wetting agent comprising ethylene glycol; and a solvent comprising water. The ink composition is applied to make a print in the color-extinguished state on a recording paper coated with a color developer or dye comprising a reversibly heat-sensitive material, so that the developing and extinguishing of a color by heating are repeated to make visible and invisible. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
