PURPOSE: A method for loading from an operational management processor(OMP) during the re-booting of a processor in ATM is provided to reduce the loading time due to the re-booting of the processor by implementing a board duplex in the processor. CONSTITUTION: A method for loading from an operational management processor(OMP) during the re-booting of a processor in ATM includes the steps of: performing(S201) a device initialization and a register setting by using firmware booster; selecting(S203) one from an active board and a standby board, and transmitting the request signal to the operational management processor(OMP) from the selected board; comparing(S205) the check sum value in the memory regions of the active board and the standby board; receiving(S207) the load of CROS, PL and PLD from the board to be normally operated; receiving(S209) the load from CROS running and AP or the like from the OMP and running AP when the board to be normally operated is active; and skipping(S213) when the board to be normally operated is standby, and running only the dummy OS.
