PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a blanking material manufacturing line for preventing dents from being caused on a surface of the blanking material, adequately removing rustproof oil on a surface of a steel plate, and removing dust on the surface of the steel plate. SOLUTION: This blanking material manufacturing line 10 comprises an uncoiler 12 to uncoil steel strip coils 11 successively disposed from an upstream side of the line shown to the right of the figure, a cleaning device 14, a leveler 15 and a press 16. The cleaning device 14 comprises an upper cleaning roll 32 abutted on an upper surface 31 of the steel strip 17, a lower cleaning roll 34 abutted on a lower surface of the steel strip 17, a roll support frame 35 to rotatably support the upper and lower cleaning rolls 32 and 34, and an upper roll elevating/lowering means 36 to elevate/lower the upper cleaning roll 32.
