PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an extruded shape material improving the strength of a joint structure for friction stirring-welding. SOLUTION: The friction stirring-welding is performed by piling the edge parts of a first member 10 and a second member 20 as metal-made shape materials to constitute the joint structure 1. The joint part 12 of the first member 10 is bent as stepping state and in the upper part, a projecting part 14 is provided. The joint part 22 of the second member 20 is bent as stepping state, too. The welding surfaces S<SB>1</SB>of both joint parts are formed as the same planes containing the center line in the plate thickness of both members. A rotating tool 50 for friction stirring-welding is inserted from the projecting part 14 to perform the friction stirring-welding. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
