PURPOSE: Provided is a glass composition, which neutralizes the polluting materials in atmosphere so as to clean air, and emits far infrared rays and anions to promote human health. CONSTITUTION: The glass composition having air cleaning effect is obtained by (S10) mixing the composition consisting of 35-40 wt% of silicon oxide, 23-28 wt% of oxidized feldspar, 25-29 wt% of borax, 0.2-0.8 wt% of boric acid, 0.2-0.5 wt% of niter, 0.4-0.8 wt% of cobalt, 1.5-2 wt% of magnesium, 0.7-1.2 wt% of selenium, 0.14-0.19 wt% of cryolite, 0.7-1 wt% of alumina, 1.5-2 wt% of lithium, 0.3-0.8 wt% of zircon, 0.14-0.18 wt% of fluorite and 0.2-0.8 wt% of a coloring agent in a stainless steel container for 1-2 hours, (S20) melting the composition in a glass furnace at 1300-1500 deg.C and then (S30) solidifying the melted composition to emit anions and far infrared rays simultaneously. Further, the step(S40) of attaching the solidified composition to a mat is performed to obtain a mat emitting anions and far infrared rays.
