SOLID HIGH POLYMER ELECTROLYTE FILM, AND FUEL CELL USING IT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid high polymer electrolyte whereby a fuel cell having excellent formability of a solid high polymer electrolyte film, strength, heat resistance and the like and keeping high battery characteristics even if it is used for a long time can be obtained.

SOLUTION: This solid high polymer electrolyte film comprises a hydrolyzate matrix of an organic silica compound having proton conductivity and a silica particle. The average diameter of the silica particle is in a range of 5-500 nm, and a silica particle content in the solid high polymer electrolyte film is in a range of 5-95 wt.% in terms of SiO2.
