PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a broadcast receiving device which can shorten a time until modem connection establishment and can make a time lag as small as possible. SOLUTION: In the broadcast receiving device which includes a receiving part 4 for receiving broadcast contents from a broadcast station 1, and a data sending and receiving part 5 for performing data modulation and demodulation for transmission of data of a broadcast receiver person to the station side, the receiving part 4 functions to detect information regarding to a real time property with the broadcast receiver transmitted together with the broadcast contents, and to pass telephone number data attached by a sharp sign '#' in the end of the destination telephone number to the data sending and receiving part 5.
