PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a valve device in which flexibility is improved when selecting valve members and designing the valve device. SOLUTION: A pressure damper 15 is provided with an ink chamber 34 forming an ink flow passage, a small hole 44, and a fourth ink flow passage 45. A support member 53 is formed of a plate spring, and a base end 54 thereof is arranged close to a first elastic body 64 through a film material 50. A tip 56 of the support member 53 is provided with the valve member 57 formed from an elastic material. An electromagnet 60 is connected to a first and a second magnetic bodies 64 and 65, and when the electromagnet 60 is magnetized, a part-to-be-attracted 55 of the support member 53 is attracted toward the second elastic body 65 by the magnetic force, and the valve member 57 abuts on the small hole 44 to close the ink flow passage.
