<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a remote control unit to be operated by using a favorite screen by a user. <P>SOLUTION: A method for designing the screen of the remote control unit comprises: a step of transferring to a designing mode for displaying a button on the screen of the remote control unit; a unit selecting step of selecting the unit to be controlled by displaying the unit to be controlled connected to the remote control unit on the screen of the unit in the designing mode; a function selecting step of selecting the function to be an object, by displaying the function of the unit to be controlled selected thereby on the screen of the unit in the designing mode; a button shape selecting step of selecting the shape of the button by displaying the shape of the button suitable for the function to be selected on the screen of the unit in the designing mode; and a step of displaying on the screen at the time of the control mode of the selected button. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
