A plasma display comprising a noise filter circuit connected with an AC power supply, having a noise filter (253), and arranged on the back side of a plasma display panel, and a back cover (12) of magnetic metallic material arranged on the back side of the plasma display panel to cover the noise filter circuit. The line of magnetic force in the core of a magnetic body constituting the noise filter (253) has substantially the same direction as the in-plane direction of the back cover (12). According to the arrangement, the quantity of leakage flux passing through the back cover (12) can be reduced and thereby the noise can be reduced.
