PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel injection nozzle to be used in a direct injection gasoline engine, which sufficiently suppresses dispersibility and penetrating force of atomization during layer combustion, and provides required dispersibility and the penetrating force of atomization during uniform combustion. SOLUTION: The fuel injection nozzle comprises: valve body 110 having an annular valve seat on the inner peripheral wall surface for partitioning a nozzle hole; a needle valve 115 where an annular valve part is formed on the outer peripheral wall surface facing to the inner peripheral wall surface and axially moved to make the valve part separate from or sit on the valve seat; and a sleeve 15 that is mounted to the nozzle body and has the inner peripheral wall surface 17 for partitioning a hollow hole 16 positioned on the downstream side of a plurality of injection ports facing to the nozzle hole. A part of the inner peripheral wall part is provided with a collision part 20 with which the gasoline atomization directly injected from the injection ports 12 to a combustion chamber 103 collides during the layer combustion.
