PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a camera constituted so that a state where a self-timer is set is recognized not only on the front side of the camera but also on the right and left sides of the camera without spoiling design. SOLUTION: The camera 10 has a grip part 14 constituted of a light guiding member and projecting toward the front side, and an LED 16 provided inside the grip part 14 and emitting light when the self-timer is set. Thus, the lighting of the grip part is recognized at a wide angle, that is, it can be recognized by persons existing on the right and left sides of the camera. Since such a lighting part need not be newly provided other than the grip part 14, the visibility and the design are both improved without spoiling the operability of the camera.
