PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple ejector in which a suction pipe is hardly closed even when solid matter is sucked into the pipe together with fluid, and the solid matter is fed without being damaged. SOLUTION: This ejector 1 ejects pressurized fluid A in a fluid pipe 2 from a nozzle 3, causes a negative pressure on the downstream side thereof, and sucks the other fluid B from the suction pipe 4. A cutout elbow pipe 6 connected to the opening 5 of the suction pipe 4 is formed in the fluid pipe 2. The cutout elbow pipe 6 comprises: an orthogonal pipe part 7 extending generally at right angle from the peripheral edge of the opening 5 of the suction pipe 4 toward the axis of the fluid pipe 2; and a vertical split pipe part 8 bending generally at right angle from the end of the orthogonal pipe part 7 and openably extending a specified length to the downstream side along the axis of the fluid pipe 2. The orthogonal pipe part 7 of the cutout elbow pipe 6 is projected into the fluid pipe 2 within the range of 1/2 or less of the inner diameter of the nozzle 3.
