FIELD: development of oil deposits by heat stimulation of pool having high-viscosity oil. SUBSTANCE: method provides for drilling of vertical wells down to bottom of lower formation with their location by one of systems of pattern well spacing; drilling from each vertical well of branch wellbores in each operating formation part; performance of successive treatment of branch wellbores by supply of heat carrier to them, before beginning of dispersed injection of working agent, for instance, water; subsequent withdrawal of oil through branch wellbores until reduction of well production rate down to minimal profitable level. Cycles of steam injection and oil withdrawal are repeated up to permissible water cutting of recovered oil. With presence of hydrodynamic communication between operating formations, branch wellbores are treated successively from bottom upward. EFFECT: higher efficiency of oil recovery due to increased coverage of formation by heat stimulation owing to successive treatment of entire formation thickness irrespective of its structure. 5 cl, 5 dwg, 1 ex
