PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a specific-heat measuring method for measuring specific heat with a smaller error. SOLUTION: In the specific-heat measuring method, a heated sample is immersed in a liquid, and the specific heat of the sample is measured based on the temperature rise in the liquid. In the measuring method, the heated sample is immersed in the liquid stored in a measuring storage tank having a heat insulating structure, a liquid identical to that in the measuring storage tank is stored under the same condition in a monitoring storage tank having the same heat insulating structure as the measuring storage tank, a change in the weight of the stored liquid is detected, a natural evaporation amount of the stored liquid is found, and a measured value of the specific heat by the measuring storage tank is corrected based on the natural evaporation amount.
