SEALING METHOD FOR HIGH VOLTAGE KRYPTON LAMP

PURPOSE: A sealing method is provided to prevent cracks and leakage of the lamp by improving resistance against stress and high temperature. CONSTITUTION: A sealing method comprises a step of coupling an intermediate glass(16) equipped with a molybdenum ribbon(18) along the outer surface of a tungsten rod(12), accommodating the resultant structure into a silica glass(10), and attaching a vent pipe(22) to an end of the silica glass, and a step of filling the inside of the silica glass with a krypton gas through the vent pipe, coupling the inner surface of the silica glass and the molybdenum ribbon, sealing the resultant structure, and cutting the end of the silica glass.
