PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the accuracy from being deteriorated owing to a change in the ambient temperature by making an electronic device constant in a simplified constant temperature apparatus for an electronic device, and its control method. SOLUTION: A highly heat insulating container 1 having a heat sink 2 capable of variably changing the thermal resistance, provided with a fan 4 for circulating gas in the container 1, a temperature detection means 7 for detecting the temperature in the container 1, and a thermal resistance control means 3 for controlling the heat resistance of the heat sink 2 in response to an output of the temperature detection means 7.
