<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a music reproducing device in which a mutual shift in temporal position between pieces of music based upon pieces of music data never occurs when the several pieces of music data are synchronously reproduced. <P>SOLUTION: An electronic musical instrument 100 is equipped with a controller 110. The controller 110 controls respective constitution parts of the electronic musical instrument 100 according to the clock outputted from a clock generation part 112. A hard disk 140 stores audio data wherein information showing musical sound waveforms of music is prescribed in time series and the audio data are read out according to the clock outputted from the clock generation part 112. A magnetic disk, on the other hand, stores MIDI data in which playing operations for music such as sounding and muting of specified musical sounds are prescribed and the MIDI data are read out according to the clock outputted from the clock generation part 112.
